Financial Aid
We will not turn a player away. If your child would like to play but you can't afford the registration, please contact us. We provide resources, scholarships, and community initiatives to break down financial barriers. Rugby is a sport for everyone.

SET UP YOUR RUGBY XPLORER PROFILE
All registration is through USA Rugby. Creating a profile is free.

Go to myaccount.rugbyxplorer.com.au
Enter your personal email (not a role-specific email — Rugby Xplorer assigns permissions to individual people)
You may see "You don't have a Rugby ID" — don't worry, the system will pair you with your profile once you enter details
Select Sign Me Up and enter your personal details
MAKE SURE that USAR National is selected, not Rugby Australia
If you see "We have found some profiles that might be you!" — select your profile and click continue
You'll be redirected to the Rugby Xplorer profile homepage — you're done!
REGISTER FOR CLAYTON RUGBY
Once your profile is set up, follow these steps.
Click Register
Login to your Rugby Xplorer profile. Click the Register button in the top left corner.
Select "Play Rugby"
Choose the Play Rugby option to begin player registration.
Select Your Player
Select the player's name from your profile and click Next.
Find Clayton Youth Rugby
Type CLAYTON YOUTH RUGBY into the search bar and select it.
Choose Registration Details
Role: Player. Registration Type: Youth & High School. Duration: Season. Click Next.
Complete Payment
You'll be taken to the payment page. Complete your payment to finish registration.
Search for "Clayton Youth Rugby"— not "Clayton Rugby" (that's the men's team).
FAQ
Does my child need rugby experience?
No! Most players start with zero experience. Any player is welcome to come try a practice before registering.
What equipment is needed?
Cleats (soccer or football cleats work), a mouthguard, and a water bottle. The club provides everything else.
What age group is my child in?
Based on age as of September 1st: U10 (8-9), U12 (10-11), U14 (12-13), High School (14-18).
When is the season?
High school plays in spring (January-May). Youth programs (U14 and below) play in both fall and spring.
Does registration ever close?
No — registration is open year-round. Players can join at any point during the season.
Is rugby safe for kids?
Yes! Youth rugby has age-appropriate rules with modified contact for younger ages. All coaches are USA Rugby certified and background checked.
